Let's Talk About Movement.

Movement is essential to our existence. It strengthens our heart, lungs, bones, and muscles. It improves our physical, mental, and emotional health. It fuels our bodies and our minds.

Movement is so many things. It is dancing, swimming, walking, running, climbing, biking, lifting, surfing, skating, and so much more!

Movement is healthcare. It is a right and a necessity. But not everyone has access to it.

Let's Talk About Accessibility.

Access to movement means having:

PHYSICAL LOCATIONS

Nearby spaces or places like sidewalks, trails, pools, parks, gyms, rec centers, or space in your home.

FINANCIAL RESOURCES

Money for clothes, equipment, internet access + devices, a gym membership or class subscription, transportation, or childcare.

SAFE ENVIRONMENTS

Outdoor space away from traffic, well lit, free from harassment, racism, and crime. Gyms that are clean, well-maintained, and free from harassment.

INCLUSIVE SPACES

Diversity, representation, respect for all bodies and gender identities; accommodating of religious requirements, non-native language speakers, disabilities and movement limitations.
